We are living in the last of the last days.
Great and wonderful things are happening, both in the world and in the kingdom of God.
In a meeting we held earlier this year in Lima, Peru, an unusual and notable miracle took place that I believe was just the beginning of signs and wonders in this ministry.
The meeting was being held in a large sports arena. Two blocks away was a hospital. While the Spirit of God was moving inside the arena, there was a woman at the hospital who was being examined by a doctor because she had several malignant tumors in her neck. Suddenly, the woman began to feel heat in her neck and said out loud, “I’m on fire!” At first, it frightened the doctor. But when he examined her he found that the tumors had disappeared. Glory to God!
They dismissed the woman from the hospital, and as she was leaving she looked up and saw the large sign (actually a billboard) about our meeting at the arena. When she came into the arena, the woman quickly recognized the same power that had healed her. She not only accepted Jesus as her Healer, but also as her Savior.
Isn’t that wonderful? It makes you wonder what else happened in that two-block radius that afternoon that we haven’t heard about. But then that’s what signs and wonders do. They make people wonder. Obviously, that woman was wondering what, who, how and where her healing had come from. That’s when the Holy Spirit and/or the “meeting angels” led her to see the large “SIGN” (billboard), and right into the arms of Jesus.
Don’t you love it?
These are signs of the times. The end times. Jesus said in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Notice, He said, “for a witness unto all nations,” or to all people. The Greek word translated nations is ethnos. Our word ethnic comes from ethnos.
Witness to what? That Jesus is alive today—doing the same things He has always done. Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that John 3:16 is true.
Are you ready for these things to happen through and around you? Are you ready for the HOLY SPIRIT to begin manifesting HIMSELF like that in your church? Then begin seeking it in prayer. Earnestly covet the Gifts of THE Spirit. Spend time with The LORD praying in the spirit. Not just a little “catch it when you can time,” but quality time.
Meditate on the miracles in the New Testament. See yourself in the midst of it all. You’re right there with Jesus—helping Him. You’re right there with Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate. You’re in it. Now, “see” yourself doing the same thing wherever you go. Not just at church, but Everywhere. Talk about it all the time. If you’re a pastor, these things will never happen in your church unless you preach and teach on them.
Faith has to come, and begin to grow in the hearts of the people. That’s the result of Romans 10:17:
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Expect it! Prepare for it!
Are the prayer teams ready? Are the healing teams ready?
What if, suddenly, an outpouring begins in your church and people start coming from everywhere to receive healing? If you don’t know the answer to these questions, you need to nd the answers. Faith doesn’t wait until the outpouring begins and then believes it. Faith believes it—then the Holy Spirit moves!
Remember this: Jesus is The LORD of THE CHURCH. There is no outpouring, revival, gifts of the Spirit, winning of souls, or ANYTHING ELSE without HIM! We do things His Way! His Way is the Faith Way. Without faith it is impossible to please God. His way is THE LOVE WAY. Faith works by LOVE (Galatians 5:6). Faith will not, cannot work in an unforgiving heart.
I have just described what is happening here at Eagle Mountain International Church. We are preparing ourselves as soldiers in the army of The LORD. Gloria and I, personally, are continually searching our hearts before The LORD according to Hebrews 12:1-2:
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Lay aside every weight—natural, carnal stuff like watching TV 90 percent of the time, and only giving 10 percent of your time to reading and studying The WORD. How? By LOOKING TO JESUS!
Now, read verse 3:
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Meditate on Him and how much HE LOVES YOU! Then, out of your heart declare, “I’M HIS WITNESS! HE IS LIVING IN ME NOW! I LOVE HIM ABOVE ALL ELSE!”
As you sow your BLESSING seed this month, release your faith for the WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING of your place as His Witness in this mighty outpouring of His Glory. Stand on 1 Corinthians 1:30, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sancti cation, and redemption,” and on Proverbs 4:7, which says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
Wisdom and understanding belong to you. Obey Proverbs 4:7 and get it. How? By faith, according to James 1:5-6 and Mark 11:23-25. You know how to do that. We’re faith people, you and I. That’s what we do!
Always remember this one thing: Gloria and I love you very much and, along with the entire KCM staff, we pray for you every day!
Love,
P.S. Remember 1 Timothy 2:1-6, and Do It!
P.P.S. SOW IT FORWARD! Be a blessing. Pass this letter on to a family member or friend.
I prepare,
I pray and
I sow my BLESSING seed, releasing my faith for the Wisdom and Understanding of my place as Jesus’ witness in this mighty outpouring of His glory!
SO BE IT!
