Intermediate Accountant / Executive Assistant

Under the direction of the Executive Director (ED), you would be responsible for all aspects of full cycle accounting including accounts payable. In addition, you would provide all administrative support assigned by the Executive Director. The position also oversees special projects, activities and events of KCM Canada as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative support position.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting related experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically with Excel.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming Accounts Payables, IE: sort, code, electronically file and send to ED for approval.
  • Prepare/post required journal entries to close books at month end.
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts at month end.
  • Assist with the year-end audit.
  • Manage ED calendar, including travel, appointments and itineraries.
  • Prepare and manage Canadian Ministry Budget.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, e-mails, and mail, in order to screen information to ED.
  • Drafts letters as required by the ED.
  • Gather, prepare and review Canadian Ministry Financial Reports monthly.
  • Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws of Canada.
  • Provide administrative and hospitality support for board meetings.
  • Take minutes at internal meeting as required.

  • Born-Again Believer.
  • Preference to someone personally connected to Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
  • Agreement with ministry mission and message.
  • Looking for long term work experience.
  • Ability to supervise.
