Digital Engagement Specialist | Langley, BC, Canada

Under the direction of the Partner Development Manager, you are responsible for the development of digital assets primarily for social media channels. You will create inspiring, informative video, audio and written content to minister the Word of faith. Helping drive growth and engagement across the various ministry outreaches, building brand awareness, and assisting in various partner development initiatives. You will also have the ability to agree in prayer according to the Word of God and point individuals to promises in the Word of God or resources that help mature them in the use of their faith.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create videos and digital audio files including shooting features, picking layouts and styles, and developing content.

  • Edit and add content to videos, including branding and advertising with a goal to increase engagement on our social media channels.

  • Assist with social media marketing activities, managing content creation, proofing, and posting.

  • Write, edit and publish content for the web, mailings and other formats.

  • Develop project concepts from scriptwriting to on-brand look and feel.

  • Participate in staff devotions, teaching from the Bible and engaging with Bible-based discussions.

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Proven experience in video and audio production (shooting, editing, writing and producing).

  • Operate and monitor audio and visual signals to make sure sound quality is consistent.

  • Ability to minister the Word of God through written and verbal communication.

  • Detail oriented with a spirit of excellence.

  • Strong typing skills (50 words per minute an asset).

  • Highly motivated and a flexible team player.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Works well in a repetitive/consistent workload.

  • Creative mind – always looking for better ways of doing things.

  • Good planning/prioritization skills.

  • Strong gifting of encouragement and discernment.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and outlook at all times.

  • Ability to pray the prayer of agreement.

Position Requirements:

  • Born again believer (KCM Partner an asset)
  • Agreement with ministry/mission and message
  • Ability to work well unsupervised and as part of a team.

  • Personal knowledge of the teaching ministry of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland with an ability to identify footage to use in ministering to the Partners and Friends of KCM.

  • Proven work experience and talent in video editing with a strong portfolio.

  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, etc.).

  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.

  • An understanding of social media marketing.

  • BA degree in communications, journalism, film studies, cinematography and/or related experience.
